Halloween is always a lot of fun and I’ve been designing some easy trick or treat bags you can make with kids.
Making your own treat bag has to make Halloween even better, right!?
I really enjoyed coming up with this little pumpkin treat pouch for Hello Wonderful.
The pouch is simply a circle of felt with holes punched around the perimeter for a cord. The design is so simple that it’s a great sewing activity for preschoolers and an easy way to introduce really young kids to sewing.
And after you’ve made some trick or treat bags you’ll want to sew some of these easy to sew Halloween projects.
I got to thinking that I should keep playing around with it and see if I could come up with a few more treat pouches for Halloween based on this idea.
One result was the bat-themed treat bag above. Here’s the Bat Pouch template and below is a step by step video showing you how easy it is to make with your kids.
