It’s summer here in Sydney and that means it’s school holiday time and time to do some school holiday sewing workshops of course. If you’re looking for something creative and fun to do with your kids and something that actually enables kids to make a difference then join me for Sew4Good. I’m teaming up with Kids Giving Back for a Sew a Softie workshop where kids learn to sew a softie which will then be donated to the Asylum Seekers Centre. A representative from the ASC will be on hand to accept the softie donations as well as answer any of the kids questions about who will receive the softies.
Date: January 16, 2018
Time: 10am -12pm
Where: Waverley Library, Bondi Junction
Cost: $40

I’ll also be running another learn to hand sew workshop.

Let me know if you have any questions about teaching kids to sew or my January workshops. If you can’t come to my workshop you can still learn how to sew a softie with your child with this easy to sew, fun tutorial for making the cutest penguin ever… let me know how you go.
Happy sewing, Trixi
